Just mount the transmitter near your door and plug the receiver in to a 120v wall outlet anywhere in your home (this will save you from having to buy batteries!). When the transmitter button is pressed a pleasant chime will sound. One button is included with this kit but extra Wireless Button units can be purchased to allow you to have a door bell on each door to your home. Each button can be set to different chime tone so you can easily identify which door your visitor has come to.  You can choose from 3 different tones, 8 note Westminster, 2 note ding dong, 1 note ding. Dimensions chime are 3 1/8" x 4 3/8".

The RC3196 is the perfect door chime for new installations or for replacing existing door bells. The unique design of this chime makes it perfect to fit in the corner of homes, apartments, mobile homes, RV's, etc. Once installed the top of the unit becomes a handy shelf for decorations or personal effects. It has a 150 foot operating range and allows you to change the chime easily. The chimes include a Westminster Chime, My Country 'Tis of Thee, Hail, Hail, the gang's all Here, the Twelve Days of Christmas, and many more. This unit also comes with 32 selectable codes to block interference from outside signals. It works from -30 F degrees up to 130 F degrees. The door chime requires 4 C-cell batteries (not included); the button requires 2 CR2032 3v lithium batteries that are included. You can know when someone "crosses the line". This high tech device creates an invisible infrared beam up to 60 ft. long. When the beam is crossed a loud alarm or a pleasant chime sound will be emitted. Can be used as an invisible playpen to alert you to your child or pet leaving a safe area. The alarm can also be used at night to scare off would-be intruders. In the chime mode, retail stores in businesses can use it to announce customers are alert them when someone enters an area that is "off limits".
